what's the difference between that and the old one?
-
• #130
Looks like there's a lot less material so weight would be the main thing, I'm guessing.

Actually I saw this for less money and with Tiagra groupset;

Don't think that's too bad, prefer the steel Genesis road bike.
The 2011 model is/was Tiagra, bar the chainset which is a generic Taiwanese item. A friend of mine got one from Wiggle for about £660, which I reckon was great for it. But as a bike to ride I think the Equilibrium/Feather would be preferable, certainly at RRP.

I'd go for the Equilibrium, a mate of mine build his up with SRAM Rival, hand build wheel (Open Pro laced to Hope Pro 3), and full carbon fork, felt surprisingly light and great to ride.
Feather? is Fuji making a steel road bike that also go by the name?

• #137
Sorry - I meant the Flyer.
-
• #138
And yeah, 725 makes a nice light frame. With a carbon fork it would be really quite a decent setup I think.

WTF is Cinelli Mystic Rats!!?!?! My eyes, aawwww....!!!! WHY!??!!?

Cinelli have definitely put out some pengy bikes over the last few years and it looks like their keeping it up.
They seem to have an experimental approach though, which sets them apart a bit. The steel fixed frame they do now is really nice to ride, and tough, and expensive. So it's not all as rough as those Bootleg bullshit bikes.

I really liked the cinelli steel fork too, which look way better than the unicrown one, and remind me of geekhouse.

The Gazzeta is probably the only sensible approach to 'urban bikes' they've made so far, IMO. (well, design wise at least).
This Mystic rats is just too bad to be true.... -
