OK, posting a bicycle to Germany drama continues. Parcelforce have just told me they can't do it as it's too large and the only bicycles they can post abroad are children's. Parcelsplease have just said they would have to use DHL for something so large and the cost of postage is coming in at £164.10 (including VAT). This is utterly mental.
It amazes me that we actually have bicycles in our country from other countries, they must have migrated or got lost on a trip to the shops because they sure as hell weren't posted.
Is it really this difficult to post a bike to Germany? What other options do I have?
