I've had my WWR trousers for about a year and a half. I never used them much as I thought they looked a bit weird. But now they aren't up to the rain anyways, a complete writeoff after having been used for my commute less than 40 times in total.
In the beginning they were OK for showers, if not full on downpours, now they take in water as if they were of cotton. And I've only washed them once or twice - with nik wax.
At 85 quid I it's just not a good investment. I guess I will avoid proprietary fabrics from now on.
