Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

I'm wildly guessing at around 180-190bhp. Sandy is the man when it comes to pug engines and really knows his stuff generally. I believe that is a tu bottom end (as found in 106 and 205 rallye's) with a 16v head (as found on the 1600 16v 106 gti). He also has a completely standard looking 309 with a really neat Integra type r engine it it. Complete sleeper !

Pretty close there, 192 at around 8k.

There's a vtech powered 309 for sale now, not sure if it's Sandy's or a customer's. It's only had 200miles on the new engine and the whole car's had a full stripdown and rebuild. Only £5K, I would if I had the money
