This was Teenslain's polo frame until a few days ago. Now it is my snow/ice winter ride (when fitted with fat tyres anyway).
I put this together with parts I had knocking around hence it looking pretty fugly but it is meant to be a functional bike anyway. The question is, how wide a tyre should I risk putting on the DP18s?
I have never owned a bike without drops...I am very freaked out by the riding position but I'm sure it will grow on me.

Jan Janssen Vitus frame from the forum (and saddle, crankset) nearly, nearly finished. BLB pedals are bullshit.
Cinelli stem and bars, 600 crankset and brake calipers, dura ace 74*0 everything else and Ultegra hubs.
Bit scared to leave it in the shed to be honest.
I need a 26.2 seatpost, new pedals and... that's about it. Oh, and a bigger lock. Apologies for messy cables and bar tape, these are very temporary. Will get round to taking some images like, in the light, when it's finished.

I've just finished putting together my first road bike build, and have been trolling these forums quite a bit for the last month, picking up useful advice and inspiration. Here's the result - couldn't have done it without lfgss, and of course the Bike Station (if you live in Scotland you'll know what I mean).
I picked the bike up on eBay, and have replaced pretty much everything except the handlebars, stem, and headset - any comments, complimentary or slanderous, would be appreciated...

I'm in a quandry with what to do with it - I got it for a song and couldn't reisist buying it (and I've never seen one this small) Ideally it needs a couple of dings filling and a respray and then built up with some nice parts - But until I can afford that I'm tempted to stick some cheaper period shimano on it and ride it like that. (the wheels are tricolor hubs- Yes, I'm aware the rear wheel is in the wrong way round)
