i saw some weird cranks last night and now i'm intrigued. they were massively chunky, a matt bronzey/gold colour, each crank was a chunky elongated oval shape with an x-brace in the middle of it and i swear... although i may have imagined this, that i saw the dude riding them (on a black pearson road bike), moved them independantly. i.e he held one crank still and pack pedalled the other to bring the cranks back to opposite positions... meaning they must have been temporarily both at the same position on the clock face. did i imagine this? am i going mental? what are they?
