Have a great time on IOW. It's lovely. I'm off to Canada for a few weeks, but I will come out with you all again sometime when I'm back.

will we be needing locks?
is there a spa at the end?
thanks.

I'm holidaying in bembridge so may well join you tomorrow night. Only thing that might stop me is that I'm riding round the island tomorrow morning so I'll have to see how I feel after that. Are you going clockwise and are you following the signed round the island route?
-

steve - no spa but locks might be a good idea. we can leave them in Ryde for the ride and the use them to lock up when we go for breakfast.
Calleva - clockwise and following signs. Hope to see you there -

Damn, forgot to bring my passport in with me, I'll have to pop home at lunch and get it. And is it better to change money before or can you do it on the ferry?
-
• #3718
passport? why?
-
• #3719
I am riding my aluminium-rattling-stick this time, stiffer but better for rain and climbing, yes.
-
• #3720
aluminium stiffness is the way to go diapo. let's make some ally noise out there tonight
-
• #3721
optimistic me, I am even bringing my bikini in case I can get a bit of a swin in the dawn
-
• #3722
passport? why?
Isle of Wight's in France init? Why else would we take a ferry?
-
• #3723
shouldn't be any rain.
anybody got a 20T sprocket they could bring? I've got a 19 or a 21. 19 is going to hurt, 21 is a bit spinny and don't think I could keep up with you all. -
• #3724
if no 20 then i would say stick with the 19. we ain't gonna be in any rush. gonna cruise round the island and have to be ultra alert on those small lanes and looking for the signs which are sometimes up in the bushes etc.
gonna be awesome.
cynthia - i have brought my bikini too. for headwear x
