I'm super proud of your inappropriate clothing purchase Tristan, prepare for extreme comfort, but don't wear underwear with them. Ermm I'm about 50% there, need front tyre, bars, stem, seat. Might not bother with brakes, I bought a second rear wheel off horatio xt, cog and sputnik.

Lucah was right with the court in scotswood/fenham.
its smaller than our usual but for matts reference its about the size of downham in th'smoke. maybe a bit wider.
one way in, 7foot prison fence all round. perfect surface. curved corners and the ball only goes under the fence in one place a metre or so wide...
no floodlights or it would be the perfect spot!just off westgate road - seems to be a fair bit of parking in sight of the court.
stick...Kirkdale Green, Newcastle Upon Tyne NE4..in the google to get an idea?

Who's up for the northern league? The idea is 3 mini tourneys, one at the end of each month and each time in one of the 3 cities (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle) over September October and November. Further details to be confirmed but you will have to be able to commit to playing on the last weekend of each of these months, thought you will only have to travel on two of them.

Haha, awesome! I was about to post the same thing in here too.
There was lots of talk during the UK champs about getting Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle to play more together. We were thinking of doing a smaller league between the cities to up the level of ALL of us over the winter.
We were thinking of setting it up as one day of games in each city as a way of making sure the travelling was fair for all.
Anyone got any thoughts?

I'm only coming over if Fenham's substantial population of middle class starving artists can give it a sweep and throw a few cans of paint around. Anyway, court's not far from Newcastle Heliport so that seems like the obvious option.
I'm in for Northern Series. SURELY we can make two teams for this with all the new and improving players we have... Nige, Liam, Luke etc.

Thursday will likely be my last Newcastle related bike appearance before I go to America and I'm moving back to Edinburgh after that so if ye want to bid me a farewell/tell me to fuck off one final time, thurs polo will likely be the best shout.
Super mallet that fee, would be sweet in net, anyway chaps time to get serious, does anyone rekon newcastle should be up to a standard to play at the Bristol polo tourney in September, I know BCF did a grand job in London a few weeks back but I'm sure those schwable tyres will wear out soon. What I'm saying is, who's up for it?
