That sounds very much like the variation Rotor qoute. So I concede that it might work after all. But it doesnt sound like a nice set-up to run fixed. Especially when you consider the fixed drivechain automatically aids you in the dead zone anyway. If the effect is small on a geared bike, it must be tiny on a fixed one.
(FWIW I wanted the 3D cranks firstly, and bought the q-rings as an interesting addition)
