  • Hmm.

I'm looking at this one, although 'electronic focus confirmation' is a new thing to me.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-FD-50mm-1-4-AF-Confirm-chip-Adapter-EF-EOS-/220833126537?pt=UK_Lenses_Filters_Lenses&hash=item336aae1889#ht_953wt_1141

All the focus confirmation is, is the little green light/beep that comes one when you (approximately) hit focus - there is just a chip on the adapter to tell it that there is a lens attached (as without it it thinks there isn't a lens and therefore doesnt offer focus confirmation)

As mentioned - FD is also one of the other mounts that has a shorter flange distance than EF - so it won't focus to infinity.

If you are looking at buying old lenses - look at m42, OM, C/Y, K mount or Nikon mount as they are all easily adaptable with cheap adapters and will focus to infinity
