When is the draft happening?

The draft will happen at some point next week, that really depends when the captains can get together. As you are all NE, maybe we can do it at or after NE polo one day, or online one evening.

Because of the draft we need to make sure that everyone can play, so please get onto the list before this weekend, and I will be sending out PMs to everyone on the list to confirm they can play, at the end of this week.

I'm serious. I was ready to get into a bidding war.

I'm most looking forward to John's colour allocations for the captains.

The captains can argue that out between them, I'll just make a judgement if there is a dispute.

Regarding format:
As it looks like we will have 6 teams, we can do a full round robin in about 8 hours, if we play 30 minute games, and have one court. If there is the second court available I'd suggest we use it for throwins, as with 30 minute games, it may well be a hour or more between games.

Then after the round robin, we can play a final game between the two top teams, as everyone loves a final.

So if we start at 11, we can have the whole thing done by about 8pm at the latest, allowing the out of towners to get home (as it's a sunday), and everyone else can go to the pub.

If it turns out there are two teams of London only players, we could probably play that at 10:30 to get an early start.

I'll have a better idea once we've drawn the teams, and I'll have a schedule ready, so you'll know when you have to be there by (though obviously the early the better, we need refs etc).
