My system is basically:
Arcam amp, Monitor Audio floorstanding speakers, Squeezebox (Transporter once it arrives), FLAC source files (I no longer play the MP3s), all driven from a UPS to ensure clean power (unintended consequence of buying a UPS larger than I needed).
It sounds lovely, but once the Transporter arrives it sound heavenly.
