Missed train 2, embarrassingly Victoria isn't where I thought it was. Now at Blackfriars.

perhaps a select few could wait back and form a fast chase group while others go ahead at a leisurely pace

I reckon the train 3 business will work out Ok. We can just take it easy on the draggy section through Crockenhill, and then the next draggy point along the white road.

Make sure you do the left onto Botsom Lane, coming from the other way it's sort of hidden on a slight left hand bend, there's a big metal gate opposite.

If you haven't caught us by the time we take the right off the A20 to head to the top of Exedown, don't forget to take it!

You'll go past a left turn signposted "Ash 2, New Ash Green 3, Hartley 4" then immediately see a sign showing a turn right junction for Ightham. This is the right turn. Don't forget to do the left onto Exedown Road at a staggered t-junction.

If you're still not with us by this point, we will definitely wait for you at the right hand junction we have to take half way up Bates Hill on the climb out of Ightham. If you miss this turn you're going to go miles in the wrong direction.

Who's waiting for me? And are you semi-reverse-route confident. Together, we can make it.

Woah, woah, woah, for one motherfucking minute. I'm not going to Victoria. I'm getting the 19h42 from Blackfriars, direct to SMC for 20h21. I'll be using my twatting Oyster.

I've not learned anything beyond the right hand fork at the top of the drag after Igtham, or however the fuck you spell it.

Get Blackfriars train with 2 minutes to spare --> train slightly delayed --> no-one @ SMC --> leave message on STE5's phone --> leave SMC just after 20h30, forever alone --> fucking hammer it --> no-one at right turn halfway up hill out of Ightham --> go a bit further --> no-one --> get to Swan pub/restaurant --> confused; don't want to risk getting lost --> check phone: no messages --> do u-turn --> fucking hammer it in reverse (but not reverse) --> catch train @ SMC, forever alone, 35 miles and 1h45 later.
