57 miles Stockport - Holmfirth past Dovestones, back over Holme Moss to Woodhead, Glossop, Hayfield.
Managed to get tangled up with a sportive, so lots of getting passed by pairs of fitter, better kitted out cyclists and being asked if I was OK. Ducked off the final hill down a side road for a quick exhausted snooze on a heathery verge before rejoining the racers. A grand day out.
I got stung by something too, at least not in my mouth though. Still itchy.
