How much lighter can it be than Campag Record anyway? Isn't that carbon anyway?
Bear in mind that 1kg is only a bag of sugar, buy a lighter belt and thinner shoes. Keep a lock at work rather than carry one. Don't carry a bag or any tools. Don't fill the water bottle. Fill the tyres with helium (that won't actually work as they will go flat quite quickly.
