Not been through this thread so aplogies if this is old news.
Brought a LED Lensor P7 (200 lumens) a few months back and have done a few night time canal commutes with it. I heard these torches are pretty versatile including mounting on top of firearms. The bike mount (sold seperatly) is pretty bulky amnd ugly so I'm using a cheap velco alternative thats a bit neater.
The build quality is incredible. It has 2 brightness settings - full beam annoys the hell out of car drivers but the dimmed setting is perfect for a town commute and lasts 120 hrs.
