  • I want to write poems about EU farming policies and their effects on shallow-soil winter winter crops.

Actually, I want someone what likes music to done put together a playlist of rioty songs, including all those posted here this week. Seriously. I want to listen to some really rousing and/or spooky stuff that'll put me in the right mood for coming to terms with what's going on. At the moment I'm listening to 19 by Paul Hardcastle, which barely fits at all.

  • Shouln't comment when it's still sticky up North.

  • This rice thing is getting a bit long in the grain.

  • sorry, been out all day. can anybody tell me how many teachers have been done in court for looting? i heard the first woman in court today was a femal 31 year old teacher and that knob who walked into a lamp post worked in a school in stockwell. is this true?

  • Teachers have hard lives. Work like almost 10 months and all.

  • But there is something rather sad and pathetic about a lot of these guilty pleas.
*One man pleaded guilty to the theft of two Burberry T-shirts - a small amount in terms of monetary value - but the effect of a criminal conviction of that sort on a person's life and career is enormous. *
And we are seeing a lot of those sort of low-value crimes, which are going to have a major effect on the lives of the people who committed those offences.

The shame of doing 6months inside over a 1kg bag of basmati rice

  • Me?

    sorry ironic tattoo joke misfire

  • if i was a teacher caught looting I'd say it was the only field trip I could muster with all the budget cuts

  • One of the CUNTS mugging that injured lad in the youtube vid has been formally identified and the Police are after the CUNT now. I hope they aprehend the CUNT gently.

I'd give him a good fisting too, no lube

It's fucking pissing down. First rule of riot club

Stay in when the weather's shit.

  • if it is true it is piss poor reflection on my profession. I wouldn't be suprised if 'working in a school in Stockwell' meant in some other capacity but all the same.
i get 13 weeks holiday a year actually EEI and i'm the only teacher I know who would glady swap 4 weeks for an extra months pay.

  • Rain is a good thing. People don't like to be wet.

  • I want this thread read to me in real time in the style of xtranormal

  • moved to spotted

  • You don't shoot at school here?

Depends on the school. I had to join the scouts to get my hands on a gun. First live target was a fox in a snare at point blank range. Shotguns are messy weapons. I think I still have the tail in my mum's loft.

    60-65hrs a week x 4 x 10 months = Top 1% of hardest working people in England.

My dad spent 35 odd years working for some real shits getting up at 5.30 or 6 sometimes to get in to school for 7.30 so he could organise everything for the day ahead. Then staying in school till 5 or 6, only to come home to do 1.5-2hrs marking of the kids work.

Teachers HAVE hard lives. Trust me

  • double euphed Rameye. a first?

Kitchen porter has as long hours. Which doesn't mean anything.

Not to mention they have the pleasure of trying to teach the kind of ratbags we've seen looting and pillaging this week.

  • The worst aspect about being a teacher is dealing with young people who don't care about anything and are being disruptive. Long hours... Many profession have them and no holidays.

  • It's not the kids faults remember...
