He's pleaded guilty at a magistrates. The max sentence they can give is 6 months. If they're sending him to Crown Court, I can only assume they want to give him more than 6 months.

I'm assuming that's sarcasm. If you think sending everyone involved away for 6 months or more is going to end up being a good thing for the city/country you're probably wrong.
