  • A friend painted my name and a mascot on the Obree bike.

  • Nice frame!

  • We have a new Flickwg. Now where's that potatoe chop of the Flite entering outerspace?

    New bike almost there.

  • I got a gipiemme sprint front brake for my Bob Jackson but it has a couple of bits missing the fixing nut which is easy enough. But the adjuster bolt that's missing is giving me a bit of trouble, has anyone got any advise as to where I could find anything appropriate?

  • Looks like Weinmann parts would fit, but QR versions of the 500/730 and early 605s probably aren't laying around in people's parts bins in such profusion as they were 20 years ago.

  • This arrived at my office this morning courtesy of peter v so i popped it together this afternoon, should make a nice beater!

  • Definitely imo. Waterbottle bosses, full braze-ons, low BB, rear brake bridge.

It doesn't really make a difference tho, so I wouldn't worry. Personally I'd have kept the mudguard eye's as they're useful and never really notice. But it's a really nice build, and you've done it to a budget, which always feels good.

Yeah I think you're right, I had suspected about the low BB and clearances and for £15 I guess I was expecting too much! That said, it was definitely a fun and cheap build so I'm happy.

  • I'm looking for someone to do some pinstriping/painting on (of all things) a toy car. Would you mate be keen?

Sorry Chrobin, that was meant for you.

  • I expect chrobin's mate is in Sweden (gateway to the North), a bit of a trip to Balham.

  • That's wicked - really nice detailing work and always good to see this project resurrected

Fair call. Anyone know of someone closer with the required skill set?

  • Here is the Bianchi Squadra frame from the classifieds built up fixed - please excuse the Roadracers/lights and a somewhat slack chain.

  • nice... what size is it?

  • It's a 55cm c-c, 59xm c-t.

  • @ Hazard Ali: Smooth. Columbus Max?

  • both are my current project , im still looking for some pantographed rossin component and due lots of paint chips and deep scratches im thinking for repaint it, what do you guys think ?

  • @ Hazard Ali: Smooth. Columbus Max?

I actually haven't even thought about the tubing.
It seems that it's called "Dedacciai Fire" (according to this, if I translated it correctly)
The frame is super light and I must say the paintwork is amazing even though it's very prone to scratching.

...Must be the coolest thing you can get for 430euros (380£).

  • <2 amazing pursuit frames.>

    Wow.

  • rOeLez's got expensive tastes

  • Don't respray the Rossin!

  • +1

    Learn to love the scars.

  • Agree, at least till you found the same set of decals...
I haven't see a colnago paint job that i like since edscoble's SL...
