well the thin blue line is stretched pretty damn thin these days. anything goes.
Iain - we met at the roebuck at 4 (for slackers). they shut at 5. we sat on the benches drinking tramp beers and eating Morleys magnums (win) and MMM-burgers (fail). we had a core of about 8. nelaii and dammit also visited but didn't stay. we eventually went to another pub (not DC) because the need to piss was becoming a serious issue. tricitybendix had sneaked into Kings College halls like a boss, but it was not a reliable toilet venue. the pub had Harveys brewery beers, a good range. Stonehedge knew some people there. it was good. me and rowhan went to check out some flashing blue lights and it was just 5 vans full of riot police waiting for something to do. there was no trouble at all. at the height of paranoia, dan unlocked his bike outside the roebuck so he could make a quick getaway if it turned nasty. me and rosie opted to leave our bikes locked up and wade in if the need arose!
