Guy being interviewed on the BBC just now who's head of a school board of governers in Tottenham and also a loss adjuster says that it hasn't been declared a riot so businesses should be covered by their regular insurance policies.

If it's declared a riot, he says the government picks up the tab for uninsured losses.

Hope it goes through their regular insurance then - can you imagine how long it would take to get the money out of the government? They'd be out of business before that happened.
