  • I remember Toxteth after the Liverpool riots and the devastation that was still in evidence many years later. It served a perfect reminder of how bad things actually were in that area, however the issues that affected the people of Liverpool (not just Toxteth) are miles away from the reasoning behind breaking and entering a Jewellers in Enfield for bling and then fighting with the police when they broke the looting up. That is not a riot with any underlying reasons, it is simply theft by cunts. Yes, cunts. Tottenham was, and possibly will be the only place so far where there is a vague passing resemblance to what happened in Liverpool, Brixton, Handsworth, Moss Side etc. in 1981 where the looting was secondary to a protest using significant violence against the Police.

That occured to me last night, I seem to remember civil unrest being put down to "acts of god" by insurers and as such are not covered.

    This shit makes me angry

go ahead and burn down Barclays, they're cunts that don't pay tax. But burning down someone's home is just not on. Whoever did it should be tied to a chair and have their own home set on fire and see if they can escape.

And what kind of tossrag attacks firefighters on their way to put out a fire? Unbelievable. You can only assume that people become so stressed/hysterical (delete or add as appropriate) in a situation like this that they lose all faculty of reason.
