I had a trainee recently who told me her Brooks saddle had been nicked so she went to Brick Lane and bought another one; which she knew perfectly well had been stolen. A nice, educated, middle class young woman. Happy to support crime and using some warped logic to justify it.
On a less erudite and more violent level isn't that what has been happening the last two days?
