sorry, i should be clear. 1000mm2 is not one square meter. nominal conductor diameter of a 1000mm cable is about 76mm.
i have a cross section of it on my desk right now. it's 33KV rated cable for a route 2.5km long from new cross to south bermondsey from a new grid connection to a new substation. it'll be 2 circuits of 12 cables each hence, 60km. it'll have to be special order form pirelli or someone like that.
