but, it was 2005, Everton got 61 point, scoring 45 goals.
4th place ever since has been:
Arsenal, 67 Point, and worst season from them for ages
Arsenal, 68 Point
Liverpool, 76 Points
Arsenal, 72 points, Everton came 5th with 63 Points
Tottenham, 70 Points
Arsenal, 68 Points
So from that the only season Everton managed to qualify for Champions league it was from the lowest total in 7 year, and with 45 goals scored and a GD of -1 it was clearly a freak anomaly never to be repeated. The 63 points that were Everton's highest total would still never be enough to qualify for Champions league.
