as for the book / Rand......its great although extreme. Same goes with Atlas Shrugged.....the methods of her ideals are, i think, revolutionary. she's challenging to fuck. She's often quite hard to understand and she can make you feel quite uncomfortable. and her personal view of human interaction is pretty crazy.....but the way its put in both books is exceptional. It's as relevant today as it was then. in fact, more so.
