I didn't realise the penguin was that well known!
-
• #3608
I didn't know about the penguin but managed to find it with my mad googling skillz.
I think OLC's one is pretty simple too, it's good to keep the tagging going with simpler ones during this lovely weather.
I was thinking about a nice motto for TaggyCat and for some reason thought some latin would work nicely... (not sure why), but anyway 2 possible phrases which might not translate properly I found are...
"invenire et pictura"
and
"invenire imaginem"I think they would look good on a logo, but as I'm no latin scholar then maybe someone could shed some light on whether or not they make sense. Also feel free to say that's a shit idea if you think so too!

Old tag is, not surprisingly, on Abbey Road, home to London's dopiest peds.
and the new tag takes us from a singing walrus to a living masterpiece in the centre of town.

I went out and did this earlier because I couldn't sleep but what with the phone camera plus night time combo the pictures came out immensely shit and I don't really feel I can post them.
Still I had a lovely ride and was there to suggest to some people trying to climb the tag and ripping it apart in the process that maybe they should stop so never mind I guess.

Are you going to go to the right one in the next hour or can i swing in and get it?
-
• #3622
^^ heh, I did that this morning.
Looks like someone will get it too soon for us ... we had a potential triple tag in the making ...
-
• #3623
Ha ha, i had no idea that there were some many of these type of things in London.
Where are some of the wrong ones so i can go and have a look around?
-
• #3624
I now know exactly where 5 are ... (although I've only been to one this morning). Will elaborate when the tag has been got.

No, go for it! I don't know where the right one is.
Oh, and the penguin connection with Finsbury Health Centre is that the guy who designed it, modernist pioneer Berthold Lubetkin, also designed the old penguin pool at London Zoo.
So a nice penguin connection between the tags. Which is entirely coincidental, as I tagged the penguin yesterday after Turnpike Lane (deal with it).
