Given what you have, it looks like a reasonable compromise between too long and too short. With the tri bars so high and so far back, you're stuck with a big s-bend in the cable route, unless you can get the cables out of the extensions behind the hand grip (some tri bar extensions are drilled for this), then you could pretty much straight line it from extension to cable stop.
