Or just put slots instead of holes in the channel where the engine bolts to the frame
I think there are if you look closely at other photos on the rolling banner at the top of the website? More apparent on the dark grey bike though.
How are you supposed to ride them? Presumably the cycle cranks are attached to a freewheel so you don't have to blow your knees to pieces at speed, but if so when are you supposed to pedal? If I understand correctly, it is for racing and so if you were supposed to pedal it at speed you'd expect a bigger gear?

It does have slots but the bolts aren't in the same place in each slot. Which is strange, unless they're fitting different engines to the same frame and want to increase compatibility.
You'd expect a much bigger gear if it was for fast racing. A Simon derny uses a 100x14 and that while doing a 200m sprint gets spinning pretty fast.
The website says it's for racing on a wooden track which is why I suspected it to be a derny. The website also has pictures of proper motorpacing.

ed, geometry doesn't look too dissimilar to the carbon niner we have built in the shop...
put on some drops and........u bin scobled?

The difference is that the Singular were made with shorter top tube than usual in order to run drop without a ridiculously short stem.
I do want that Niner though.

I wonder how many thousands that will go for?

Stunning bike!
Curious what this will go for indeed. 8000$?

No, I see it too.
Somebody educate me: why front derailleur tabs? -

Do you mean why use a braze on mech rather than a band on?
More integration, neater, possibly stiffer.

Just finished this build at the shop. I don't understand why get in to all this carbon nonsense when you can get a good, strong ridable steel road bike that weighs bang on 7.5 kgs

Because you can get a good, strong ridable carbon road bike that weighs bang on 5.5 kgs,* including pedals*
If carbon is "nonsense", why are you using it for such safety-critical components as fork, cranks, seatpost and brake levers?

I give you neater, I can't really see how it would be any stiffer and what means "more integration"? An aesthetic thing?
Truly curious. -

you have to spend too much money on all the other components to make up
for the heavy frame. -

for the heavy frame. You sacrifice some pounds with a steel frame, but i still think steel is the best material, rigid, resistant over time, reliable.
