after wanting a dslr for a few year I have just brought one! After being totally bewildered by the amount of choice I decided on a nikon D80 due to finding one at cash converters and the guy accepting my offer.
Now i just need to learn how to use the thing, i've spent the day watching youtube tutorials which has helped and am now thinking about getting a DVD off the ebay (good idea?)
Also i'm not sure if the lens it came with is any good or not. Its a tamron 28-300mm I will be taking photos of sports as well as portraits/close ups and thought a smaller lens may be better?
Oh the joy of a new toy :)
