  • ... I haz an idea for how this can work - Live competition tagging, rather than going over old tags. (caveat - I can't remember what ideas others had earlier!).

Set out a restricted Tagging Area - eg. The City Square Mile - and have Base Camp at LMNH on Old St. Someone at Base Camp to have a laptop and printer (Mr Aroogah can probably do the honours). I presume LMNH has WiFi? Also - the City will be quiet on a Weekend.

Say for example we have 4 teams (of 2 - 4 players), the Tagging Area is divided into 4 (an area per team), and the first tag must be taken in the area allocated to the team (everyone is provided with an annotated map). Teams rush back to Base Camp and the tags are printed out and stuck up on a board with the team name marked on the print out.

Then it is up to the teams to go tag everyone else's tags. First team with a set of photos up on the board with their bikes at everyone elses' locations wins a bottle of Tag Glory. Use any means necessary to find the tags (bribery, corruption, wifi).

Depends on how many teams there are, and how long we want to play - we can have each team go tag twice at the start, or have more teams.

How about August Bank Holiday Weekend (Aug 27/28th)? As long as the ride isn't in September as we'll be away, I'm happy to organise the maps and any game details - I have a laminator so can print/laminate spoke cards as well (Scoot - throw up a design). If consensus is for this, I'll set up a Rides thread, and put our various rules in the first post.
