CoppiThat - those water towers are amazing.
I get serious pangs of the heart when i see those old buildings. Superior and authoritative. And I believe most of them were built during the art-deco era too which goes hand in hand with the grandeur.

Similarly to the water towers, a few years ago, my brother and I considered buying a Martello Tower to live in. They are scattered all over the south east coast. i think most of them have fallen to the sea, but some of them are up for renovation.
