It used to piss me off no end when I worked in retail and you'd spend ages serving someone, only for them to announce that they'd be buying the product online as it'd be cheaper.
My advice is part of the price, being able to try the item on is part of the price and being able to walk in, buy it and walk away with it straight away is part of the price.
