Just glued mine.
Globe shoes to some Shimano soles. Getting it all apart was a faff but not too difficult.
Packed full of newspaper but the bit around the hole wasn't touching so got some clamps out and clamped it all up. Will see how they're doing tomorrow morning. Hopefully they'll be good for polo this weekend.
