Anymore info on this? Since I hang out in peckham car park on Tuesdays I'm wondering if this will help / hinder the beginners polo sessions.

i don't really know what the setup is on the other floors wicksie sorry. i believe bold tendencies (the exhibition) is over various floors but have no idea which ones.

I'm pretty sure i was the source of the rumour, which i got from a guy who turned up before beginner's polo. He was showing some people around the top floor, and said that the exhibition would start on the 30th (can't remember which month, but probably june). I dunno if it also means to reopening of Frank's, but I'd guess so.

http://boldtendencies.com says it opens 30th june
http://frankscafe.org.uk says it opens 1st julyi'm just going to ask them.

that being said, frank's bar won't officially be open (as in serving campari and food) until the 1st, but what's happened the past two years is that there will be free beers, and then pay beers behind the bar.

Cool, forgot about Franks bar. Hope there's more seating, colder beers and more places to lock bikes this year.

• #113
Ah good stuff, I'll be there. It's spitting distance from my place so cycling is rather pointless. See you there!

Update on the bike shop:
It's now called the rather ordinary - although informative - Pete's Custom Cycles.
Been working long hours so haven't yet seen it actually open and when it's closed you can't see inside because of a large red grille.
Anyone been inside yet? -
• #118
I rode past it last night, lights were on inside, had a stare. Looked more promising than I was expecting, can't remember much more than that though (was on my way back from Souths...)

http://www.paulscustomcycles.co.uk/
It's called PAULS custom cycles. The website has changed recently but used to have a GT mountain bike converted into a TT bike with Dura Ace.... Weird.
Not really sure what direction this place is going to take but they seemed to be taking in stock the other day.

Sure they're the one and the same?
I used to see him commuting. Big bloke, his bike's a very odd, strangely beautiful beast. disc brakes, bull horns. One piece seatpost/saddle, looks mean. -
• #121
Ah I clicked through. Excellent. He used to be based up near Mount Pleasant but I never got around to visiting. His new local-ness pleases me.
-
• #122
Paul's not Pete's?
I must be working too hard! -
• #123
Just wondering which shop around Peckham would be best to get a bent derailleur hanger straightened, I was going to take it to Brixton Cycles but just thought I'd check if any shops closer could be trusted to do a good job?
-
• #124
Has the shop opened yet?

Why are the pics so dark? Tease fail...
I've seen that Franks bar is being rebuilt for the summer. I've heard that it's opening on thursday though this but hearsay. Can anyone confirm this? I fancy going and checking it out.
