I was going for that, some bostord obviously had a bid snipe on. Although I should have bid properly on it in all fairness.

m wondering about the many differences of detail between this frame and all those pictured on Classic Rendezvous.
Could it be that this one is one of the late Witcombs that reportedly were built in the US?
I had one of the US witcombs and it was Columbus tubing not Reynolds- but not sure if that was the norm. My only question mark would be around the forks as the crown looks a lot older in style that much of the rest of the bikes. But i know it wasnt uncommon for Barry to use old stock lugs sets- or someone has matched a vintage fork to the frame.

Is it me or do I smell something fishy about this bike: -
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320732318109
I wrote to the seller saying track frames don't normally come with bottle cage fitments, can't see any clover leafs on the lugs, a-head forks, and the geometry doesn't look right.
It's a nice frame, but I don't think it is a Colnago, am I wrong?
I don't understand this listing. Awful listing and not a particularly special bike, yet 25 bids and up to £140?? Suspicious...
