  • know you feel like a good friend, but your perception of risk and his are two totally different things, he has two brakes to control his speed, and feels like he is riding within reasonably parameters. Leave him too it. If he has an accident, injures himself, then he may change how he rides, he may not.

    In the end it has nothing to do with you at all, leave him to enjoy riding his bike his way. If he was riding fixed without a back brake you might have a leg to stand on, but he isn't so you don't.
