Pro tec helmets are really good as they're vented and quite light. A good cheap option would be this and one of those softball masks for £3. This is pretty much what I'm wearing and I really like it. It's not too font heavy and there's only a bit of the bar in the line of vision.
This probably should go to the protection thread as I think there was a bit of a discussion about high sticking. If you mention it, it's never well received so I'm inclined not to. I personally see a need to wear a face mask and am trying to get used to mine.
There's a chance I'll be selling mine soon as it's a smidge too big for my pea head, and I'd like a more vented one for when I go to Oz.
