I went to see this tonight:
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kULwsoCEd3g"]‪Cave
of Forgotten Dreams (2011) - Official Trailer [HD] - YouTube[/ame]I loved it, Herzog seems to have the magic touch. Beautifully shot, totally captivating music (i'm going to see if i ca get the OST) and of course his own brand of narration; a mix of sober thoughtful commentary and his own little injections of wit and humor.
I saw it in 2D, didn't know it was meant to be 3D, I was in such a state of awe in 2D 3D would probably have overloaded me.
Only slightly spoiled by an mother and daughter (daughter was in her mid 40's, they should have known better) sitting behind me who constantly felt the need to voice their opinions of the amazing cave art by saying loudly "ooo thats a nice one isn't it!".
I hate cinema talkers.

It was jaw dropping in 3D.. You could really see how the artist(s) used the contours of the cave to add definition to the shapes

my friend has got a 60" led 3D tv, i'm going to have to convince him to let me watch it when it comes out on bluray.

I saw it in 3D and while it was interesting I wasn't blown away by it. I liked it don't get me wrong, but like the previous documentary he did about scientists on Antartica, it was an interesting sometimes beautiful curiosity rather than a mind blowing event.

I saw it in 3d and it was ok, but it didn't half go on for a long time, and the voiceover began to really annoy me.
The visuals would have made a really good BBC documentary with a more scientific soundtrack and less of the wacky french truffle-smeller and the crap spear throwing guy. I half thought that some of the talking heads were actors and it was some strange attempt at humour.

Dark Knight Rises teaser finally out.
Looking (especially the cast and Crew - Nolan/Hardy/Cotillard/Gordon-Levitt) more and more like Inception.
Used to be my favourite film when I was small. Honestly I still have no idea what it's about as I haven't seen it during my double-digit years.
