I don't. There's a 25 mile downhill run to the finish, so any gap created on the climb will be easy to close on the descent.
Stage 9 in 2009 and stage 16 in 2010 had similar profiles and neither saw any moves by GC contenders.
I'm thinking that Cunego might try and make a gap on the decent, not the climb.
The Schlecks are sketchy descenders, same for Basso. Contador is ok, as is Voeckler.
Cunego could try and force a split in the group of favourites, taking three or four good descenders and force a gap, then hold off the bunch with a bit of through-and-off to the finish.
