Hurrah! Thanks for this, my wife is away at the moment so I'm free and could do with trying some hills out on fixed... Is anyone else on fixed or are most geared?

andyp has first dibs, in giro colours £ 50
you can tell they did a lot of market research for this when the brand of the bike is 'Puky', although I think they forgot the 'e'.

Was just about to come and sign up but I see my work is already done for me.
-
• #3056
I'll be on 45x17 fixed - it's easier for me to moderate/modulate the group tempo with a direct drivechain. I expect middleofnowhere and smiff will also be sans derailleur at the very least.
As there are TNRC virgins coming along, it'll be one of those stay-behind-the-leader rides (freewheelers please use your brakes appropriately on descents and downwards drags), but people can let loose on the short climbs if they wait at the top/the first junction thereafter.

Well you did say 'including vagina' so I presume a vet is doing the op.
If It's of any interest to anyone I'll be running 48x19 (67g.i.) if I can get comfortable my new setup.

Sorry.
I've managed to get the afternoon off work, which means Hillingdon for me.
This TNRC's a great route, and the start list looks ideal.

bmmf - you happy with the numbers and train sitch?
-
• #3069
Yeah. If there's 14, we might as well all pile on the first train, though I'd need an agent to procure my GS4, as I won't be able to get there before 7.10pm.

• #3070
Toying with coming, don't know how wise this is as I'm quite ragged after DD. Will decide tomorrow according to how I'm feeling.
