Really? If this is true...

Similar stuff on countryfile a few weeks back, National Trust warden seemed genuinely concerned that the grasslands would take years to recover from hoards of spectators wanting to watch the race. They seemed to come to the same conclusion as CW, great route, wrong hill. Should have picked a less pretty but more accessible route.

... I would rather watch it on TV than take part in fucking up the area.
