    i think in terms of different sized front derailleur clamps, the 'product' would just be a derailleur with a differnt sized clamp. so either carry on with some shim that doesn't slip, or measure it and get a new front mech.

    Thanks very much. It's Reynolds 2070, which is Manganese Molybdenum butted main tubes. Manganese Molybdenum taper-gauge stays. Bonded to aluminium lugs.
    It's a custom version of Reynolds 653.

    I only own 3, soon to be just 2. I can see why you think that though, it's just recently I've had to do a bit of shuffling around in order to acquire my Pulse.
