**The Good Cook on BBC1 now. No idea why BBC commission food content any more. I like Simon Hopkinson a lot - he's a good writer and clearly knows his food but if the program is an identikit model of anything else foody that's been on in the lat 5 years - same recipes, same filming style, same music, same locations, same ad-libbing by the presenter - what's the point?
