The Arsenal deal was for 15 years back in 2004 (pre-financial meltdown), and Emirates and Arsenal are not owned by the same sovereign family.

There is no comparison in the deals I'm afraid. I stand by my "Dodgy as Fuck" assessment.

2004 = +7 years inflation
Financial meltdown ? Not in Abu Dhabi.
