Cheers for the kind comments on the jackson; he's been out today on his first proper ride, 60 miles through the coastal countryside (felt a birt like devon) with luggage, felt great, am absolute weapon on the climbs and enjoyed being able to leave my mates for dust.
Scully its defo a 73,jacksons worked it out and frame number (9000s) places it then too. Someone haas said it would have mimicked the italian bikes of thee time (sloping fork crown).
managed to take a wrong turn and rode2 miles down a cobbled track, which shook the headset lose but thankfully no damage.
All in really glad too have it finished and bee putting some miles on it. Had plenty of admirers too, mostly the older generation (one came right over too chat about it) and a carbon roadie guy who offered a swap :p
