@Brickman - to be honest, I found Wrynose harder - first hill of the day, I had a big wind right in my face, the road was wet and I got overtaken by a car that stopped in front of me for a chat! Hardknott was made easier by the car drivers who were incredible at giving the thumbs up, pulling right over and yelling encouragement!
@dulwichrider - yes he does, he follows us on twitter and I agree, a really, really nice bloke. I would also like to big up his publishers Francis Lincoln who made a pretty hefty donation to the charity. Top people really.
