Scoot, it might be worth trying them. I'm somewhere between a 4 and 5 so I have shoes/boots in both. But in my Specialized Motodiva shoes, I needed a 39. My toes hit off the end of the 38s and I wouldn't say the 39s were particularly generous. They are lovely shoes though - comfortable although not sure I'd walk more than a mile or so in them. The ratchet on them is brilliant for getting them good and secure on the feet.
