I busted my right wrist into 5 pieces, or busted 5 pieces off, not quite sure what the doctor said. I got two plates put in and the fragments removed from the joint. Six days at Royal London to get it fixed but a lot of that was bad timing. Fridays aren't a good day to have to go in on the emergency surgery list.
Coming out of the surgery was three hours of the worst pain I've ever felt. Partly because it was dressed too tight but I have a sneaking suspicion the anaesthesiologist botched it. It felt like there was no anaesthesia for my arm. I tried to HTFU but massive, repeated doses of morphine seemed to be the best medicine.
John, thanks again for following up with me. I really appreciate that.
