B&D are you feeling ok? You are being reasonable! ;)
Sometimes it's necessary to be an argumentative cunt. It gets the juices flowing, so to speak. But this isn't one of these times.
And no, Dov hasn't hacked into my account.

Cool. Set out an action plan and then you can drink yourself to kingdom come.
It's all in the planning.

I did mention just before leaving London that I had spoken to the managers at the Crab Tree and they were keen to get the cyclists back there, but my words fell on deaf ears.
They now have a new General Manager, Dan Coshan and from what I hear he is a good bloke and of course looking to increase patronage.
I have no vested interest in the pub itself but I am still friends with some of the staff as it was my local.Talk to them, be reasonable about where you want to park your bikes, those that are familiar with the venue know there is space at the back by the river.
Ask about burger/beer deals if that is what you want. You don't ask you don't get..My interest in this is to see Wests survive so that when I come back to visit you fuckers I don't have to travel all across London to see you individually.
That is all.

Well going back to the Crabtree would make me very happy. Those were the best days imo.

Maybe we should enlist the assistance of our cultural attaché to explain our needs to see if they'd be interested in fulfilling them.
I'm more than willing to act as Sir Les Patterson in this instance if necessary.

I'm thinking since the move away from the Crabtree- due to a refurb at the time, Westies has suffered a Pikey's life shifting from one hostelry to another.
Although an irregular attender I can't be arse to keep catching up with it, hunting through the thread to make sure where it is, and has it moved at the last second because someone thought there was an R in the month.
The one thing the Crabtree has is ample bike space, as well as parking too, and summer evenings chatting outside, next the Thames, are close to the heart.
However, enough of this waffle- the single point I'd like to make is ffs do have single place to base Westies on, its what we're all used to and creates the club atmosphere so badly needed, and so many have drifted away now.
I'm a bit bewildered by the need to kow tow with the management at The Crabtree-if peeps just turned up the bar staff aren't going to turn them away, as there's money in their hands- Simples
I vote for The Crabtree, I do like the Peartree, can't be arsed with the Ship, I know not why, possibly parking probs, I can be arsed with somewhere on a similar scale to The Crabtree, but please just make it stick!

I met my first forumenger (after his nibbs above, obviously) at the Crabtree, that being the honorary gentleman that was Fiddy.
Lets to the Crabtree, and raise a glass to Fiddy tomorrow.

Don't know that I should be getting involved but what the hey.
Below is an excerpt from an email to me from one of the Key staff.
Hey babe, nice to hear from you ;-) Awesome to know the guys will be coming back to the Crab.... i think the best thing to do is get one of them to call Dan (the new GM) and discuss it directly with him or Richie/Andy. Damon may have not told Dan about it so maybe getting one of the guys to contact the Crab directly would be good :-)
calling Sir B&D Patterson
Telephone: 020 7385 3929
I must warn you - as I am moving house the next day (morning) I shall not be out late, so you can all bugger off to the PT when I leave, if you so desire....
I'm not enamoured with the Ship either fyi...
Crabtree???
